About the department

The faculty as a separate discipline of an academic inquiry was introduced from the very beginning that is from 1950. It indicates the demand in favour of History as a discipline. Even today it remains to be a much sought after subject. Distinguished teachers adorned the faculty of History from the very inception. The academic condition in terms of quality of faculty and learning-transfer process is healthy and adequate. The morning section of the college teaches the General course only.
